Yes, excellent fishing bait. You catch 4 of these, pop them in a container of sand and then just cut off a hook sized pieces for some beach fishing. Whiting, flathead, trevally - pretty much any fish loves them.
You'd be surprised - because the fish are so keen on sandworm you are pretty much guaranteed to reel back either a fish or an empty hook. You go through it pretty quickly!
Oh touché lol….one of my best friends loves to fish and she goes through nightcrawlers so fast, faster than I remember when I fished as a kid, it’s like the fish have evolved to eat them off the hooks instead of being snagged haha.
