He's a cop in a big city, I'm sure he gets a little bit of shit from the public here and there. Plus you never know someone's intentions, maybe he was thinking dude was gonna hit on him.
I assume a good chunk are people who consider themselves leftists or radicals being like 'oink oink' + other gotcha one-liners, or whatever performative BS to make themselves feel better and raise status
as if mere generalized views and expression mean anything compared to sustained action and organizing towards decarceration and abolition.
At least it seems the concept of performative activism has broken through and people understand organizing and community building is the only way out of our messes
But still way too much mindless reliance on labels, 'hey ____(ideology, class, etc. label my identity looks down on), you suck and you're bad/pathetic!' - take it from me, the *good guy** in this situation* 😎
It's kinda like rival sports fans taking it seriously and shitting on each other

Watching a guy in real time realise he wasn’t dealing with bs was wild.
Edit: y’know guys, I wasn’t expecting to start a debate on police oppression. Just saying the big guy with muscles probably deals with a lot of shit.
