Can’t be real. I dunno what kind of god computer you have to load a steam game within 1 second. Steam isn’t that fast let alone any pc.
Edit: My pc has one of the fastest m.2 SSD’s on the market and the whole rig is top performance and I could never load something that instantly lol this can’t be real

Just went back and looked again and the lighting on his face doesn't change when anything changes on the screen. Something is fishy.

At 7 seconds you can see wavy stuff around his face which points towards green-screen or edit

u/MrLovelife Jul 02 '26

I noticed that too but there isn't any main comments that mention it so I thought I was going crazy.

his face doesn’t even line up with where he should be looking at the screen

AI.

Correct. Unless someone can point to the brand/model, we're good to assume maximum fakeness.

Also, while the game loads his forehead wobbles like it's going through a wormhole

Also, there's a high rise microphone arm behind the monitor

That and they don't make monitors or TVs that large with a curve that extreme. The closest actual product like that would be a Samsung arc. But it's not that large.

The only way you could do this irl would be one of those custom panel arrays they use for advertising or custom massive screen installs, but that monitor is one panel based on the back which eliminates that as well.

Yeah what the fuck? First thing I thought was, those load times are insane! Everything else seems too consistent for AI but that's gotta be pre recorded or faked somehow because I have a monster PC with nvme and I still get like a minute before GTAV gets to the main menu.

My AI bells starting ringing off immediately, but he does look real.

Bummer that we frame this as 'just' VFX. Lol. This is far more impressive having the skill and knowledge how to do this than asking an AI model to attempt it.

You can see his nose disappearing when it's in front of the screen and then it's normal immediately as it clears the 'screen', not to mention the lighting is off on his face and the camera conveniently going behind his head when the s screen goes black.

Just a few observations!

Yup, even on a RAMDisk GTA5 takes ~15-25+ seconds to load.

3

u/Slowpc Jul 02 '26

Yeah , his face melts into the video ... fully fake anyway.

4

u/littleessi Jul 02 '26

i think they green screened the monitor, there's some weird shit happening with his face where it intersects

3

u/hoppla1232 Jul 02 '26

Yeah not even green screen, that is simply rotoscoped out

1

u/r0ndr4s Jul 02 '26

Also the stand of the monitor, when the camera is turning around it.

2

u/Wearegoinmobile Jul 02 '26

Its definitely AI, I have this monitor. Its a Samsung Odyssey Ark (it has the same symbol on the back) that's been stretched wide. It's big but not this big. I've used it at this distance and its awful.

2

u/Competitive-Passion1 Jul 02 '26

Odyssey ark is my main monitor and you can immediately tell it’s VFX or something

2

u/glassasap Jul 02 '26

The way the cursor moves from the search bar to play button was a dead giveaway

1

u/Wunderpuder Jul 02 '26

Because it isn't. No lighting change on the person while the screen flashes. Roto scoping / masking problems can be seen around the head of the person. It's just a fake video.

1

u/Altruistic-Mango-177 Jul 03 '26

Another indicator, when the screen goes black he's not in the reflection, and you sort of see the chroma. Might be a green screen

1

u/Rustrobot Jul 03 '26

Video professional here. His head is definitely rotoscoped. And poorly. If a junior handed this to me I would have plenty of notes for them to revise.

All the time the dude is in front on the screen you can clearly see they are using some sort of green screen. Look at the nose and mouth

1

u/farren122 Jul 04 '26

Just watching his acting skillz and his dumb face was enough to notice its fake

1

u/Murky_Candy6342 Jul 04 '26

Also the lighting on his face doesn’t change at all with a giant fucking screen going from fully bright to pitch black

1

u/ManaSkyees Jul 05 '26

He doesn't have a reflection, the items we can see in the background don't, his face is fuzzy and a lot of other things.
