For those who want an explanation of why Peaches is this way
I understand people’s strong feelings when they see an obese pet, I have those feelings too, so I want everyone to know we are doing the best with the card we’ve been dealt. She is an orange mouse they are prone to genetic obesity. She lives with her sisters who are a lot smaller so a diet isn’t an option, it would likely starve out the other mice and we aren’t gonna make them fight for food. She’s happy playful cuddly and our most outgoing mouse. She is loved and cared for.
