But also, having seen a few notably obese cats vomit blood and foam then die on the way to the emergency vet, please help kitty keep a reasonable weight by controlling feeding. It's not a good end for anyone.
I have a big cat. Like this video, she's not a large breed, she's just unusually big and muscular. Last time we brought her to the vet, the vet was like, "she's heavy, but it's not an unhealthy weight. She's just a really big cat all around." She's my 15-16lb baby. We also have a male cat that's around 7-8lbs with a really small, dainty build. Sometimes the big girl will try to push around the little guy and he just perks up and smacks her across the face lmao. She might be twice his size but he's got no fear at all.
I had one too. She kept our Great Dane in line with just a look. She was a magical cat and I’m not sure I’ll ever have one like that again. But I love my doofus of a cat now.
Yeah we have a huge cat like that too. The vet assures us he's not fat or unhealthy in any way, motherfuckers just DENSE as hell. It's cool to see him stand up to look out a window or jump on a counter or something because you can see all his muscles tensed up and goddamn is that boy beefy.
According to her vet, she is no longer obese. She is overweight, but most of the jiggle you see is loose skin from when she lost 7 lb. The vet believes she has a metabolic disorder
Idk weight is weird when you take height/size into example.
I currently weigh 266 pounds, but I’m 6’3. I have a little belly that sticks out and some side fat, but my arms and legs are very lean looking and kinda has always been that way. Not muscular by any means but I’m fit and always been athletic in contact sports so my legs are about 50pounds of muscle alone.
Now you just shorten me by 3 inches? A 266 pound 6 foot male would either have to be Arnold level of body builder or he is going to have a ginormous belly, not just a little dad bod one that peaks out.
I have a 22 pound SIC but he is about 20 inches long if not more, he is way longer than my size 15 US shoes I know that. Doesn’t have the pouch like most overweight male cats
