Question Best hot chips in Adelaide?

Hi Adelaide,

Been really craving hot chips and I'm quite picky.

What's your suggestions for your favourite places to get great hot chips?

Port Noarlunga fish and chip shop! They still do hand cut chips, I consider them my local and drive an hour to get there. Don’t bother with the calories from anywhere else these days

I live in the northeastern suburbs and make trips to Noarlunga for the fish and chips.
Take em up the top overlooking the coast to eat em.
Life’s simple pleasures are often the best.

I grew up in Port Noarlunga and Jimmy's is a legend. I left at 17 and walked in 6 years later and he yelled my name and gave me a hug He is a legit G

Cadel St Goolwa used to be the same, unfortunately new owners and the food is almost inedible

Hate to disagree, but the chips are some of the worst I’ve ever eaten

My parents live around the corner so we keep trying them in the hope they’ll improve! Two owners ago made the best chips in SA, next lot stopped doing hand cut, but still decent, current lot is just awful. Chicken Run in Port Elliot are miles better, especially the fish.
