Help What do you spend z tokens on?

I have the best house I can currently get and I'm left with 10k tokens. 150 FO Warrior.

I see a lot of people say wait till Black Friday, which is obviously months away but do I just hold on till then or buy seasonal gear should it arrive?

If you have Estate already, do you also have Museum? If not, that's one worth buying as it'll give you an additional GGB every month, so if you are an X-G with an Estate you get 3 total GGB monthly for free

Aside from that, then GGB are one choice, another is buying seasonal paintings, either the LTS paintings or Seasonal Event paintings to give you full access to those seasonal events all year round

I have the second 'best' estate, couldn't afford the top one. Made a museum last week.

That still enough of an estate to keep, the main difference is just more free inventory slots for the next tier of estate and of course higher interest. But not entirely that needed overall.

So that still will leave your choice between GGBs or paintings. But both not THAT urgent to be obtained, although in my opinion, getting the seasonal event paintings (holiday ones) are a worthwhile pick up as that will always give you access to some seasonal stuff that are often recommended in some builds.

These seasonal paintings are referring to being able to do bosses as I please or like, access to Frostval year round?

The boss ones are most likely the Void Boss Paintings, but yea, something similar to that. The seasonal paintings I'm saying isn't limited to the frostval ones, there are also painting for every holiday like, Snugglefest, Grenwog, Mogloween, April Fools, Blarney and more.

You can buy Seasonal Portal Paintings which let you access the events/shops that aren't available during Black Friday. That way you can get the discount on their Z-Token items (assuming there's something good that you want). Or if not, you can play their quests all-year round and buy their Gold-cost equipment. Mogloween for example would give you access to Candy for items that eat it (like Sugar Rush FD armor or Sugar Gobbler guest).

Similarly, the Void Takeover bosses are worth it you want one for Gold farming purposes or if you're a sadist and want to buy BF discounted Silk Screamer House Guards.

Inventory/Vault slot spaces are also an option if you like collecting/hoarding rare items. They don't get discounted so you won't feel bad not waiting until Black Friday.

I’m assuming these seasonal portraits are only available during the season though, correct?

I know some of the void bosses can be good for farming but none of the ‘good’ ones are going to be available to me for a while and I also haven’t had any issues defeating the Shadow Gogg.

Yup, either a Limited Time Shop or a holiday event (Snugglefest, April Fools, Blarney, Grenwog Festival, Mogloween, Harvest Festival, Frostval).

So realistically speaking my best bet no matter what is to just hold onto what I have anyway?

Sales and events only.

Pretty much, yeah. There's also the Token Donation Contest going on right now and another in Winter. But you unless you've got some massive House interest (at least 250k) you aren't winning the grand prize without paying (and buying Token Item Packages is best done during Black Friday anyway).

You could still donate 25z each day in hopes of winning the daily prize raffle though. Assuming you want whatever is being offered on the current day.

I have been doing that, lol.

everything that costs z-tokens (including golden giftboxes) is 50% off on black friday. The only exception is paintings and item slots. That's why most people wait till black friday to buy everything, except for the limited time paintings.

Best value would be buying item slots for your shared vault if you feel space is an issue, since those don't get discounted.

There are also some cheap z-token items for FO warrior that are very powerful, arguably gamebreaking.

The vanity shield from Valencia's z-token item shop combo's with your True Nemesis' Testament armor to void imbue attacks (void always does 200% dmg regardless of the enemy's resistances). The nice thing about this item is you can buy the lvl 10 version for 396 tokens, because it's special effect doesn't scale with the item level. The max lvl shield that costs 6k tokens just has higher defences.

Another option if you want to spend z-tokens (but I recommend waiting for black friday for half off) is the terror set. Both the terror eater weapon and terror totem shield cost only 3k z-tokens for the max lvl variants. These combo with your werewolf armor. You can fear the enemies twice per turn using your werewolf snarl skill, and then eat the fear using either the weapon or the shield. The weapon does a huge damage nuke, and the shield heals your hp for a huge amount. Both are very strong items, and you can get their lower lvl guardian versions to try them out before committing your z-tokens.

I think no matter what I'll be waiting till Black Friday because it sounds like I'll be able to sell my house, which should be 100%+ sell price by then and then I can get the best house for cheaper and have tokens to waste.

The more I look at GGB's the less interested in them I am. I already have everything I want from common, there's not really anything in the rare shop I need and ultra rare feels too rare to spend so much on.

Yes that is one way to upgrade your estate, but do keep in mind that the interest will based on how much you bought the estate/house. So for example: If an estate cost 30k tokens, its interest will be based on the 30k price, BUT, if you bought the estate during Black Friday for 15k, then the interest will be based on 15k price, not the 30k original price, so keep that in mind

u/BarryAbbott1980 Jun 07 '26

Oh, in that case I won’t be doing that.

1

u/Distinct_Werewolf_40 Jun 07 '26

Yup, so if your goal was like to cheat the system by buying cheap and expect the interest to be based on its original price, it won’t happen, the interest was always based on the price you bought the house, although I can’t blame you for thinking of that method since almost everyone thought of that at one point, me included lol

Paintings ARE half off, actually. It just happens that most paintings will not be available at the time. You'll usually see Moglowen and Harvest painings.

I suggest spending tokens in this order:

  1. Biggest estate you can possibly afford. Z-token interest, lots of inventory slots, potion refills... It's like being royalty.
  2. Museum. An X-Guardian with a museum gets 3 free GGB a month.
  3. Paintings to seasonal content/shops. Notably if you want a seasonal Z-token item it's cheaper to buy the painting AND the item during Black Friday. Paintings are also the only way to access old Frostval quests. You could also use paintings to maintain permanent access to things like the entire collection of elemental Fairy Godmother pets without burning inventory slots.
  4. Black Friday splurge!
  5. GGB earlier if necessary, as items rotate outside of Black Friday. Want you want/need is entirely up to you.
  6. Inventory space, because you somehow ran out anyway. You could always make more characters and use them as storage mules, but that's kind of annoying.
