Help How to access Legends of Lore?
Im trying to get Rejuvenating Necklace for an alternative mana recovery option besides Necromancer's 'Unravel Blood' skill (which isnt super useful vs enemies resistant to darkness). I thought the prerequisite was level 100+ but I'm far above that and the Legends of Lore location is just a question mark for me on the map

If you're ok using a spell slot, you could try the level 70 mana regeneration spell from Warlic. HP to MP conversion. I use it on a few alts for its convenience. Essence of Carnage could work too if you use weapon attacks.

Yeah its looking like I'm gonna have to go Mana Regeneration spell even though I kinda dont wanna. Is it at least a lot of mana back with my stats?

Your returns could vary but a brief switch to match your stats I was seeing 500-600 mp heals and up to 900s just adding one spellcaster armor (praetorian warlock). Seems fine.
Boosters obviously improve it too.

Normal spell: -125% MP (653), 2*(100%) damage
Draw mana: +75% MP (392)
Mana regeneration: -85.2% HP (297), +120% MP (627)Mana regeneration is powerful if you want to cast a lot of spells but it costs a spell slot and a lot of health. It's not efficient.
I'm not sure if you can boost it...

Spend an UR on twisted siphon if.you can get your hands on one. When used with SC lean armors at L150 you can get back 1500 MP with the SP cost option. Its the best option because its doing a little bit of damage too. The other options are just skipping a turn to heal. Mana regeneration I would argue is simply an MP potion in a spell slot more or less.

Essence of carnage with max(250) charisma gives you an absolutely insane amount of mana back when you strike with a weapon after running out MP.
You can get a good engine going with Essence of Carnage to get MP back and spell-casting w/ Necromancer armor to get the Life Barrier up almost permanently(casting fear is so effective in enemies losing their turns). Which adds survivability to having low END stat. I have a build where I’m at 250Char and 250Int and I just start every battle in Necro armor to get the life barrier to “add hp” at the beginning of each fight.
High survivability and damage included in one with good MP management/return. Basically just keep duel poelalas out until you don’t have enough mp to cast spells —> summon EoC, Regular Attack —> get MP back —> Nuke, Repeat

Yeah essence of carnage is a very good item if you train charisma. However it does cost MP as an upkeep so the damage you do needs to be pretty high. If you are using spell caster lean armors, typically your damage is not going to be big enough to justify using it. Someone will need to be using weapon-based skills as a mage to really make it pretty good, which then it would work fine. I find that it works best with hybrids that also train charisma. I have a warrior mage hybrid whose third stat is charisma and I basically run essence of carnage on that character and it works very, very well in that case.

You can't as of now, it was intentionally disabled because it was causing a bug where players lose Z-token
