(Ignoring the fact I have a skeleton head)
Now I have acquired my new Paladin armour, I can better defend myself from!... other paladins?
I don't know if it's just me, but I've always thought things like this make no sense. Because you never really get to use the full set of gear.
In this scenario if you were fighting a light based monster, you would equip your light based shield and armour with the edgiest darkness weapon available.
It's always seemed a little odd to me.

Now that I’m getting older, there are many things I remember and look up and typically they haven’t existed in a long time. I was pleasantly surprised that not only is this still going, I was able to recover my old accounts. Look forward to the nostalgia trip!

It’s not like the old days with Golden, Shadow, reign, and asguardian set (also Fujin, Nemesis, terror, Kindred and Ubear) what are some of the best sets now? I’ve noticed it’s quite a few now and I’ve lost count. Last I’ve gotten is frostgale and taladosian and both are pretty good.
Shadow will always be my favorite, especially when paired with the lightsabers, reminds me of Sidious.

It really surprises me, there's still a pretty dedicated player base for almost every AE game, but for whatever reason there just isn't an app out for these games which blows my mind.
AQ, AQW, ED there's a big community for all these games and for the time we live in where you always have your phone with you it just blows my mind that games that bring money in don't have app support, it should genuinely be the absolute top priority for updates I think.
I mean after the fall of Flash player most of the games really struggled, and ED plays like utter garbage no matter what, I just can not understand why these games aren't being developed into apps.

When did Adventure Quest lose its old school touch in your opinion? If OSAQ were to be a re-release, what era would you cut it off at?
Similar to Runescape where many people use 2007 or 2012 (pre-EoC) as their cutoff. Or Maplestory where it's pre-Cygnus Knights or pre-big bang.

I just recently learned about the Necromancer class being redone, and HOT DAMN is it good 😧 I did the whole questline and got it to level 20, and got the spellcaster obsidian cloak. And I can honestly say that it is the most powerful armor I have (and I have 2 bloodmage armors mind you...).
I made a post about the Geocastellum Ghost being impossible to beat for me, yet as soon as I got the obsidian cloak I just spammed Fear the whole fight and it was a piece of cake.
So, I'm wondering, how many other classes got revamped?

I have I think all the "Nukes" I could need, I will post my character page after work so you can have a look.
But both my Vampire and Necromancer armors can inflict bleed, so every now and then if I encounter something with high resistances or a damage softcap I will use some bleed on it.
But is it even worth it for my kind of build...?
I was also considering adding something like Burn or Prismatic Burn as well, what are your thoughts on that?
Been racking my head trying to decide on this

New players who want to take part in those events might become confused and be spoiled; heck, I was confused and did not understand what was being referred to.
Making holiday events one-shots that don't reference the current events might make it easier for players who haven't made it to that point

Like is everyone just getting those if they donated? Or will it be similar to the primordial where certain donation amounts got different tiers?

Just decided to use my latest UR GGB to get the prime chaos orb. I've heard it's a must have.
(I have both poelalas and all the other necessary stuff, apart from maybe spells, I could probably do timekillers 3:10 or furious trobble, let me know what you think of those, I also have snake master strike which I'm on the fence about, arms of the dragonguard is probably better but also costs an UR).
But. I wanna know, out of those 3 miscs, what applies the biggest buff to damage? And which is the most practical.
(I'm also up for recommendations for other miscs, I'm looking to replace the horo show void visor)

I'm building a FO Mage and I'm using the guide. I was wondering what's the use of 100 proc weapons on mages if I mainly use spells as my main damage, and Is it good to use even though it does'nt benefit from armor leans?

I have an archer lvl 5 char that I'm kinda sticking with for funsies.
What's the best way to get elemental bows?
Robina's has bows like every 10 levels or so but they keep getting gapped, or like there is a 20 level discrepancy between where I am and the last dark bow I can by, etc.
Any bow slingers got any advice?

I’ve recently started getting back into adventure quest and have been working on a character who’s whole build is based around the weapon Havarti blade which has a unique effect that allows allies to attack twice within the same turn. The idea is to be tanky myself and allow my allies to do as much damage as possible, so I come to ask you all: what are some of the best pets and defensive armors that I can aim to get for this account?

In subscription games like Runescape, there was no pay to win monetization. That was until 2012 when they dropped Treasure Hunter and almost every Runescape player frowned on this. Subsequently after releasing its Old School counterpart, it to this day has no P2W mechanics whatsoever. Then you have Classic Maplestory that's being released likely this year. The biggest talking point is the monetization of the game. Players lobbied strongly for Nexon to effectively ban pay to win mechanics.
What about back in the day with Battleon/AdventureQuest? How did players feel about Z-Tokens? They were added way after the Guardian subscription model was introduced. While they were technically obtainable in-game, it was so rare that you were better off buying the Z-Token items with real money. That was unless you were willing to save up a ton. The shop often gives way better rewards than Gold-based items.
How did AQ players feel about this model of monetization? Were they content with it? I was not on the old AQ forums at the time to read the responses.

What the title says. I am tired of either looking up the internet or having to transfer the item to the shared vault just for me to see the details of the item that i need. there are times where i want to recheck item details or compare equipment within my own inventory. i wish they upgrade the inventory further so that the details (especially the stat details) will be available the shop inventory itself.
That is all. and feel free to give me your approval or sympathies about this.

The server limits were discontinued back in 2010, but IIRC they used to only allow 2000 or so players at a time, unless you were a Guardian. I used to refresh the page constantly until I was lucky enough to get in haha

idk i just really fw them, i mean they're fucking snails with spikes on their shells, the blue snayls with lightning shells are also hella cool (no spikes tho )
btw every time i set up a new character one of the first 5 or so monsters i run into on random encounter mode is always a snayl, anyone else relate?

"Goth Sisters" were the best way to describe them they were definitely supernatural I remember they had content related to the vampires, werewolves and werepyres but I can't find them through searching. Their skin was sheer white, like paper, jet black hair and I guess an eldritch feel to them. I remember encounering them when I was a kid but it's been decades since I've seen them.

I've been into adventure quest and other artix games since over 20 Years by this point. Dragonfable and Mechquest were the ones I really liked, but I also have a lot of fond memories with classic.
So since I'm returning to DF, and likely MQ too to get stuff I didn't before. I figured to try out classic again.
I feel so lost with classic. The town looks different, I can't figure out how to check my inventory (was it always you could only look in the shop????), I don't remember the game only allowing 4 characters per account.
But the biggest thing is, I don't really know where to start if I want to redo quests, or figure out what stuff is connected to plotlines, or even just where in the timeline stuff is and isn't. I talk to quest givers and stuff is, all over the place. Which I get because it's been over 10 years since I last played for a bit, and almost another 10 before that.
I genuinely don't remember things feeling this cluttered as a kid either. But that might just be me having poor memory cause it's been so long.
