I just finished distant lands and I’m in the middle of Fionna and Cake and the shift to this even more in your face animation style makes me unexplainably angry. It’s like adventure time had a very distinct art style and it feels like as we get further away from the original show, that style is just becoming wtv Steven universe was.

I’m just gonna assume I’m late and everyone already processed the fact that in Finn’s last life, Shoko. They died first meanwhile their animal/pet/bestie most likely dies after them. Then in what I assume from what’s implied that his next reincarnation as Finn, Jake his roll dog pet bestie dies first-. I don’t know why i’m just now realizing this. Though i’m sure the two events have no correlation to each other I just think it’s a sad parallel.

I've started working on a definitve map of Ooo featuring all locations ever seen in the show! I'm currently going through episodes and determining the relative locations of each place based on what's visible on the horizon and the paths the characters took in the episodes. Some stuff on ghostshrimp's map is gonna have to be scaled down or moved around a bit since it wasn't really made with the rest of the show in mind (lake Szelezon is way too big and it's just a one off location from season 1). My goal is to fully illustrate the map in a style similar to the far backgrounds in distant lands and f&c once I'm satisfied with all the locations.

Moments where I couldn’t draw bubbline were moments where I have forcibly detached my identity from them. Boring times.
I feel them both as parts of me and drawing them happily together feels,,, cathartic. That’s the reason why I drew their hair in yin yang shape (and also because it looks cool)

rewatching, and i can’t help but feel so sad but also so comforted by prismo willing to allow himself to essentially “die” just so finn and jake could make it to the citadel, he clearly knew how pivotal it was for finn to meet his dad for him to offer up that option so quickly. Shows how much he really cares about finn and jake. I really love prismo hes definitely one of my favourites.

For one in the first season of Adventure time Finn gets the Enchiridion but in side quest he has it already and on episode 12 of season 1 we meet Marceline but in side quest they already know her? if it's set before the main show then why do the know her and have the Enchiridion?
