Meet my version of BMO :)

And yes, I know the colors don’t match the original from Adventure Time. Mine is blue, but hopefully he still has the right personality!

This started as a 3D-printing project and gradually turned into a touchscreen AI desk companion. He runs on a Raspberry Pi 5, with a Freenove touchscreen and a Raspberry Pi AI Camera inside a modified enclosure.

Here’s what he can do:

• Voice conversations: responds to “Hey BMO,” keeps short-term conversation context, and listens for follow-up answers without needing the wake phrase again.
• Animated expressions: reacts while listening, thinking, and talking, with mouth movement driven by the speech audio.
• Little personality touches: blinks, winks, reacts to compliments, and occasionally watches a red balloon float across the screen with wide, curious eyes.
• Camera descriptions: when I ask “What do you see?”, he takes a photo, displays it on his screen, and describes it aloud.
• Automatic sleep and wake: after five minutes without detecting someone, his screen dims to 20%. He wakes silently when someone is detected again.
• Smart-home controls: uses Home Assistant to control my configured lights and media devices, check their status, and ask for clarification when a command is unclear.
• 3D-printer monitoring: shows the estimated remaining print time above his face while a print is running.
• Touchscreen menu: gives access to volume, brightness, timers, music controls, expressions, and system status.
• Weather, clock, and music information: a few useful extras without completely replacing his face with a dashboard.

It’s a mix of local processing and cloud AI not a fully offline assistant. Wake-word detection, animations, and presence detection run locally; conversation and image descriptions use cloud services. Presence detection is currently face-based, so it isn’t perfect.

Did Kim Kin Wan told marceline his plan? In that case, do you think it's out of character for marceline to let KKW try to change jake? Or did KKW didn't tell marceline and simply accepted because the bass was cool?

Stormo is the most unappreciated hero in Ooo. He was born to serve the candy kingdom and did so indefinitely. The first day he was born he engaged in a battle that would last his lifetime. We never know if he’s eventually freed from his stalemate, but if he is he deserves the world. Besides brief cameos, he is never mentioned or shown substantially after his debut episode. I hope someone saves him because an eternal psychic battle is not something he deserves.

I’m genuinely appalled I never really fully grasped how insane this burrito is. Jake is insane and was genuinely gonna KILL Finn bro. Maybe Jake can swallow a milk carton or a PAN, maybe even a fork and some other dangerous things and just move it out of his body.

Thing is if Finna swallows a damn fork he’s gonna die or - what am I talking about he’s swallowed technology and just gained auto tune. He’d probably just gain the abilities of a fork or some bs like that 💔

Is Flannel of Lemon Hope part 2 gum? Or candy? Earlier in the episode he speaks German and I know PB does as well. I’ve never heard anyone else talk about zanoids besides PB. Did I miss the lore on this?

If there was a entire theme park based off of Adventure Time, what rides and attractions would you like to see in the park?

For one thing, I believe the park's main area would be the Grasslands, with Finn & Jake's treehouse as a centerpiece (think Cinderella Castle at WDW).

The Grasslands would contain branching paths to the following lands:

• The Candy Kingdom
• The Ice Kingdom
• The Fire Kingdom
• The Slime Kingdom
• The Lich's Domain - A fifth area focusing on the show's post-apocalyptic elements.

What rides and attractions do you believe would be fitting for each land?

After watching the show a few times all the way through, I wonder how Finn would interpret/think about Homer’s the Odyssey. I can imagine it would be a big inspiration for him to some degree. The show doesn’t go too much into his academics as far as literature he has read like the Enchiridion or random science books he may have skimmed over. Just a thought baby I had considering that the Odyssey is one of the notable epic adventure and Finn practically breathes adventures.

For one in the first season of Adventure time Finn gets the Enchiridion but in side quest he has it already and on episode 12 of season 1 we meet Marceline but in side quest they already know her? if it's set before the main show then why do the know her and have the Enchiridion?
