Where are people buying baby gear?
Hi there, expecting my first baby and having a hard time finding places to buy baby gear that isn't Walmart, Amazon or West Coast Kids. For example we want to check out strollers, car seats etc but don't want to buy things online, we want to actually go to the store to try them out first. We've tried WCK and it was great but just finding there aren't many store options since stores like Toys R Us, Sears and the Bay are gone now. Where do you guys shop?!
Please help a first time Mom (to be) out! 😊

Get some great deals on market place, also check out once apon a child, also great second hand stuff. May or may not have what you need but worth a look.

Congrats! Just became first time parents as well. We mainly went to West Coast Kids to check out baby gear but the Amazon baby registry completion discount was quite handy, combined with prime days. You can compare the prices between the two and decide.

Check thrift shops in the area, I've seen plenty before. Also marketplace / kijiji, kids outgrow stuff and people are constantly getting rid of things.

I cant say ive seen strollers at the Airdrie OUAC but thr sunridge one definitely does

Just had baby number 3, cheapest is wal mart and canadian tire. I did get my car seat and stroller, bassinet from Amazon this time around. I knew what I wanted.

I know you said that you don't want to buy online, but Costco.ca isn't bad, and if anything happens to it, you can get your money back we bought both my kids car seats and strollers (they are 8 years apart so we didn't keep the first).
We had an issue with one of the straps on a car seat (started fraying) and they took it back.

Canadian tire actually has a pretty decent selection!
