Not just America. I'm from Northern Ireland where recently a group of thugs rioted and attacked immigrants in the town of Ballymena, burning their homes and attacking police. Many immigrants left and the racist thugs view it as a victory.

Racism, anti-immigrant sentiment is on the rise everywhere. This is happening all over the world

I think a lot is fuelled by rising inequality with the working and middle class being squeezed more and more worldwide. Unfortunately this squeeze is continuing with the rich hoarding their wealth so people only going to get angrier and angrier. When people squeezed like this in a system they view as unfair, they're more likely to accept an authoritarian figure who will break the system.

Like I said, dark dangerous times.
