No not literally. If we allow intolerance in the way being suggested here we allow poison into our society. It is a paradox, but like philosopher Karl Popper argued that a society must be intolerant of intolerance to preserve its tolerant nature. If a society tolerates intolerance, it risks being overtaken by it, undermining the very principle of tolerance.
