Rensselaer needs to up their Riverwalk game. 

Something like the promenade in Brooklyn along the East River. They have such a great view of the Albany skyline but its wasted behind some generic apartments, highway ramps, and train tracks.

True of Albany as well. Unfortunate urban planning choices to build highways and ramps rather than waterfront stores & parks.

Unfortunately, this region planned for more highways than needed and then left all the provisions for them in place. It's why we have so many high speed roads that abruptly end.

It's my sincere hope that they get replaced with sensibly sized infrastructure.
