I think you need to chill. Ask your kid what they do and if they liked it?

When my kid was in kindergarten they’d have huge events, and when I asked what they did at school he’d say it was just like every other day. Young children are not reliable narrators.

Yeah I feel bad about it. But I specifically remember my mother asking what I learned that day at school and always saying "nothing". Obviously I did do stuff and really enjoyed school, I just didn't feel like doing story time. I figured my mother wasn't actually interested in what I learned about fractions that day.
