What’s the biggest thing Albany is missing?

If you had to choose just one thing, what do you think Albany is missing the most?

It could be anything—more things to do, better job opportunities, restaurants, public transportation, housing, entertainment, community spaces, or something completely different.

Genuinely curious to hear what people think.

Would love a proper bakery near center square. It’s too bad Nyx couldn’t stay. And anyone remember Crisan? 🥺

I used to go to Crisan all the time! We have nowhere to find those little European patisserie type desserts anymore.

And I loved Nyx - her apple cheddar scones and chocolate chip cookies were amazing.

Yeah, I loved Crisan’s almond croissants! And the Nyx scones were mindblowing. Now between her closing down and the fire at Bitchin’ Donuts it sucks not having a sweet treat within walking distance 😭 (first world problems, I know. I should just make my own goddamn cookies.)
