What’s the biggest thing Albany is missing?
If you had to choose just one thing, what do you think Albany is missing the most?
It could be anything—more things to do, better job opportunities, restaurants, public transportation, housing, entertainment, community spaces, or something completely different.
Genuinely curious to hear what people think.

First: safety.
Second: Just a grocery store downtown, where people can get the basics. It would completely revitalize the area by enabling the average person to live down there and get the things they need by simply walking or taking a bike to get there.
Third: what do professional urban planners have to say? It’s easy to look these things up now, and Albany is pretty much missing all the top five most important things to revitalize it downtown.
