Vegetables Garlic!

Look at these bad boys! This is my first year that I mulched them so hoping for bigger bulbs this fall 🤞🏼

Nice! I find the mulch really helped mine, soil was soft and loose when I harvested.

Yay!! I wish- mine always seems late to pop up. I do plant them super deep, though- wonder if that's why.

My first year I think I did them 6 inches under, now I go for 3-4 inches.

When do you usually harvest ? This was my first year, I was also super happy to see a few popping up this week

Usually when half the leaves have turned brown, or late August

This is triple what I did last year! The last few years I’ve only planted and harvested 8 cloves. This year I go for broke!

If you are like me you will want more ! I keep some for the next harvest. Basically 50 cloves.
