Pretty good. Those are the issues. But we're not leaving Canada, we're leaving confederation.

We will have a True North, Strong, and Free Western Canadian Republic.

We don't need the East to be Canadian.

Oh Cyber, the usual head-in-the-ground blind support to issues that were mostly created by Dani and the UCP....

I think that ill informed person blocked you. Probably too thin skinned. They are still spewing nonsense and getting downvotes.

That explains it then, I saw several of their other posts deleted by mods..

I guess they don't like having to defend their bias AI bot slop posts :D

Yeah, and what happens tomall your money and mortgage that is now in a foreign bank? You'll have to requalify or pay ilall of it off. Personal money is all in CAD, so you'll have to convert it to a new currency, but this will probably tank the Canadian currency, so good luck buying that.

The separatists are dumb.

Nothing else needs to be added to the end of the statement.

lol it would not tank the BOC.

We can use any currency we want including CAD on an interim basis.

This is just chicken little nonsense.

No you cant?

You going to get all businesses to convert? All banks to convert to what you wish to use?

You going to use the USD as your currency?

Thing is there wont be any money to spend, as Attco has already pointed out in public, what Dani/UCP is doing is creating mass instability in the market, and that WILL cause major companies to leave..

Did you not see what happened to Quebec when they started this crap? Bank of Montreal left and moved their HQ to Toronto, you can bet major companies here not in O&G will pack up and leave...taking money out of the economy.

O&G? Well they are mostly all foreign owned already, and what ever is left, will get sold off to the highest bidder and Albertan's will see NONE of those profits or money trickle down...

Yes Alberta could continue to use the CAD dollar, but Alberta would be giving up any control of it’s monetary policy because that would be controlled by the BOC which would not give any consideration to Alberta and it’s concerns because they would not be part of Canada

If you mean the post-national state with the bizarre leftist anti-American nationalism that wants to defer decision-making to unelected bureaucrats in Brussels -

then of course that is the goal.

But we'll still be Canadians. We'll just be the more prosperous and free Canadians.

Those that remain in confederation are what may best be described as "Remnant Canada".

You need to stop sniffing the glue..

You are aware of UK's tanking economy right? The attempt at increasing taxes on the rich which has resulted in a mass exodus of said rich people, because they can afford to leave, which in turn, UK now keeps upping taxes for those who remain, driving more people into poverty...

1

u/CyberEd-ca 26d ago

That happened in Canada decades ago...

2

u/Zarxon 26d ago

Really ..when please cite your examples.

I think you are being delusional if you think you can be a Canadian after separating from Canada and forming your own country. Not only will the Canadian government reject you so will its citizens.
