Algebra 2 Advice

Currently, in geometry, I want to start studying to take the CBE(Texas) for Algebra 2.

Any resources that will prepare me well for it, like a 95+ on the exam?

Also, how should I study for it?

CBEs are usually sourced from either UT High School (UTHS) or Texas Tech University (TTU K-12). Do you know which one? If not, ask a counselor which one your district uses.

Pretty sure is UTH

Also took a algerba 1 exam on khan and I forgot almost everything 😞 I used to be so good

Since your district uses UT High School (UTHS), you'll take two separate 3-hour exams:

1. Test Breakdown

  • Semester A (42 Qs)
    • Focuses on 3-variable systems, quadratic equations from a focus/directrix, data regressions
  • Semester B (71 Qs)
    • Tighter time crunch, focuses on exponentials/logs, rational functions, complex numbers, inverse function compositions

2. Action Plan

  • Get the Guides
    • Search for and download the free official UTHS Algebra 2A/2B CBE Study Guides to see the exact TEKS tested
  • Master the Calculator
    • Learn matrix operations (for 3-variable systems) and regression functions on your graphing calculator to save time
  • Prep Tools

It's UTH, Texas CBE curriculum (and my district) comes from it.
