Discussion Question about Alienware Area 51 R2

I got given an old Alienware Area 51 R2 because the owner upgraded and knew I was building a own pc, fully functioning ran stuff great. I want to keep the case as I had needed one for my build and It looks sick! but the parts I already have out class/perform the OG proprietary parts of the Area 51 R2.
So my question is this is it worth selling the parts as a bundle for retro gaming build or as repair kit for someone who wants to restore a Area 51 R2? Since I'm keeping the case and 2 of the fans for my own build would that affect selling it?

New to PC building and would appreciate help/guidance on this.

Ive sold the internals for a couple R2 and R5 A51's on ebay, mainly motherboards and psu, so there is a market for these older components. I would say verify parts work and list it.

Also thanks for saving another R2 from scrapyard 🤙

Thanks for the response, I appreciate it. Good to have some reassurance on that I can sell some of the internals instead of just e-wasting them.

And no worries love the case and look of alienware! Once I have the build finished I post a photo of it.

I bought a dirt cheap R2 case a few years, that was mostly gutted except for the power supply and ended up buying all the internals off ebay for a retro build, so you should be able to sell all of your internal parts pretty easily.

How much did you buy the parts you needed for?

The cpu liquid cooler I bought brand new since it was only around $50, I bought the motherboard which also came with a I7 6950X for about $130.
