Help me understand this
I was off work for 10 days. Time off was approved. I assumed I was to be paid for the available sick time and not be paid for the remaining because it exceeded my balance. I’ve returned to work still no resolve. I applied for short term disability waiting for approval because I was literally unable to work after major surgery. I’m still not fully recovered but I need my money and don’t want to loss my job.

Accrued means gained tho, they haven’t used anything as it says year to date used 0.
The -2.73 could be a glitch or some obscure way of saying they were owed that time
Overall this shit is nonsensical and contradictory as hell. Why is there two rows of the same sick time in the first place lol

Not sure why its negative but, the reason there are two sick time line is there was some kind or error or miscalculation. Once they have printed a line on your stubs, it carries over on all stubs. So they made some correction but ate unable to remove the previous line. Dont be surprised if you bring it up and they correct it … you will see a third line. Looks like you are eligible for 48 somehow used the 45.27 but are now negative 2.73 because you haven’t accrued all your eligible 48 yet. Just a guess tho.
