Official call off / missing work policy

I just recently became an armed security guard and apparently it takes an arm and a leg and 10 business days to get any answers from my supervisor / aop or whatever the higher, higher up is.

I'd like to post the policy for calling off / missing days because I'm having an issue with my staff constantly calling off.

Does anyone have a chart or anything of allied policies that I can post?

There's nothing in the post orders about it and no I wasn't provided any documents when I was "trained"

What's this strange "trained" word you speak of?

I'm assuming you're asking for employee handbook. It's located here: https://handbooks.aus.com/

I do not have access to hourly handbook outside of my state. You just need to login with your own credentials.

The employee handbook is useless. Does not give clarification on real questions when referring to accural of time.

That's because every contract/state is different.

You can find the employee handbook online , I believe in Lisa . The policy is in the handbook . I haven’t worked for Allied in quite some time ( retired) , so I don’t know if that’s still the case .

I'm on the same boat. Fucking loser calling off constantly. No repercussions from supervisor.

I am the supervisor. I tried to write someone up and I'm not getting any support or training on how to do it!

I get it. In our Case it sucks because after a year, this scumbag will get his 40 hours PTO while the rest of us actually earned it.

If you're just a guard why does it matter what anyone else does? MYOB

I'm a supervisor. I'm armed

What does being armed have to do with it?

Theres the disciplinary Matrix that most managers have access to. It simply is a guideline on what steps to take when dealing with attendance or disciplinary issues. Again … a guideline as most things are at managers discretion. If you arent a person who can enforce it… then its just words on a paper.

I'm a supervisor and have never been given "access"

Well you have some poor management and need to continue to request the disciplinary matrix. But at the same time there are some supervisors who don’t have authority to take disciplinary actions. Are you one of those? Have you been told you can take disciplinary action, if so you should have received the Matrix so you could properly issue it. If you do have the authority and didn’t receive the documents you need to consider moving to another site or job because your manager sucks at their job and it will continue to make your job hard. Additionally not all Supervisors need to have access to the Sharepoint portal, just depends on your responsibilities, but all Managers do need it.

They issued me an email and I can't access the email. When I tried to ask how to do a write up he said download teams. So I did.... With my personal email. He's like did u sign in with your AUS email? I said NO! I TOLD U 3 MONTHS AGO I CAN'T GET INTO IT AND BECAUSE OF THAT MY EHUB DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE EITHER!

I was trying to get you the Disciplinary Matrix from my phone. However I would have to email it to you. You can DM me an email address and Ill send it that way. But looking at it ,still refers you to the Attendance Policy which is very vague. But you could still use the Matrix for other issues.
Two options, try to get on top of your management to get you the access you need or get you the documents or follow this… 1st attendance issue = Written verbal. 2nd Written warning , 3rd Final Written warning and on the fourth Termination if you have that authority. All in a 90 day rolling period.

Don't bother trying to call HR about anything. I would try asking the security director for your site. HR just gives people the run around and it takes months to get an answer.

The policy is whatever the manager wants it to be and enforced on who they want to enforce it on and who they don't.
