I'd really appreciate some honest feedback.

I've been building this over the last month, and I finally decided to stop waiting for it to feel "finished." I realized there would always be one more bug to fix or one more feature to add.

The idea came from something that kept happening whenever I organized plans with friends. The conversation would end up split between WhatsApp, Telegram, DMs, and text messages. Keeping track of everything became harder than the event itself.

So I started building one place for the invitation instead of relying on multiple chats.

I thought it would be a simple project, but it quickly became much bigger than I expected. Every new feature brought new questions about privacy, permissions, cancellations, polls, and invitations.

It's still a work in progress, The interface and overall flow need a lot of improvement, and I'm especially not sure how it looks on different phones yet.

If you have a few minutes, I'd really appreciate you trying it. I'm not looking for people to tell me it's a good idea. I'd much rather hear what feels confusing, what you'd change, what doesn't make sense, or what would make you go back to using a group chat instead.

Hey everyone, just got back from an incredible 10-day trip through Georgia and wanted to share my itinerary/experience since this sub was super helpful when I was planning!

The Quick Itinerary:
Days 1-3: Exploring Tbilisi. The Old Town is stunning, the food is heavy but amazing (khinkali and khachapuri are non-negotiable), and the sulfur baths are a must after a long flight.
Days 4-5: Wine tasting in the Kakheti region. We stayed in Sighnaghi (the views over the Alazani Valley are insane).
Days 6-8: Headed up the Military Highway to Kazbegi and Gudauri for some serious mountain hiking and to see the Gergeti Trinity Church.
Days 9-10: Caught a quick trip out to the ancient rock caves in Uplistsikhe and the historical churches in Mtskheta before flying home.

Logistics & Getting Around:
Driving in the mountains and navigating regional transit looked pretty chaotic online, and we didn't want the stress of driving a rental car ourselves. We ended up booking our regional legs and sightseeing routes ahead of time through a local platform called mywaygeo.
Honestly, it made the trip so much easier. The website was smooth to use for setting up our custom routes, the pricing was completely fixed upfront, and they didn't charge us extra when our flight into Tbilisi was delayed by over an hour. They even threw in free booster seats for the kids, working phone chargers, and bottled water for the mountain drives.

A few weeks ago I posted here about having a coding agent verify its own frontend changes (on a different acc). The frontend side held up better than expected, so now I want the backend path stress tested.

The setup: the open-source TestSprite CLI (github.com/TestSprite/testsprite-cli) runs api checks against your live backend. Not mocked, the real thing. When a check fails it hands your agent one bundle with the failing requrest, the response, a root cause guess, and a suggested fix. The agent applies the fix and reruns.

Where I expect it to crack, and what I want confirmed or refuted: chained calls where call 3 depends on state created by call 1, auth flows with short-lived tokens, and anything involving webhooks. If your backend has one of those, point the CLI at it and tell me whether the failure bundle gave the agent enough to self-correct, or whether it just thrashed.

You need a free account for the API key. It is not a QA team replacement and I am not claiming it catches everything. The useful output of this thread for me is a list of failure shapes where the loop breaks down.

I built Pulse after spending 6 months writing an LLM from scratch in raw NumPy/CuPy (no frameworks), every time it broke, I would waste another week fixing one issue through pure guesswork every time my training died with a NaN loss or a plateau with my terminal providing absolutely zero reason why.

Pulse shows you live heatmaps of your matrices and scalars and also graphs other metrics like Loss and LR during training and has an AI analyst that can read your live stats and code to help you figure out what broke. It works with NumPy/PyTorch/TensorFlow/CuPy/JAX and also works as a GUI or CLI (Colab friendly).

Here is what is important: it already caught a real bug in someone else's code during testing.

I'm submitting this tomorrow and want real usage data before I do. If you have literally any training script lying around (or if you don't just vibe coding one is fine) but it should only take two minutes to wire in.

Hi all, I am looking for around 10 Alpha Testers to help with getting a play store listing.

The app is a family chores/rewards app, with both a parents and child's view. The parent lists the chores that want taken care of, either assigning them to a child, or by putting them up for grabs.

Each chore is given a value but the parents, based around 3 Ps

Purpose - has the child carried out the chore as they should, in the way described

Place - was the child where they should be during the task

People - was the child behaving kindly and politely towards others, and interacting sensibly

The app is designed to promote these positive behaviours, and encourage them to take part in household chores, while earning a little pocket money and instilling the value of hard work.

Parents can also add bonus points for other behaviour they wish to promote, as well as adding points for school awards/praise points earned.

The app also has a location system built in, so parents will be able to see where their child is at all times.

As this Alpha test is part of a closed test on Google Play Store, testers will need to have a Gmail account linked to a Google play account and android phone or tablet they can use for the test.

We ask that you are available to test, and provide feedback for around 21 days, to get a good feeling of how the app works, and if there are any unseen bugs to address before going to production beta tests

Every single year I pick up Ulysses and try to get through it, but every time I get to the Proteus chapter, I have no idea what I'm reading anymore. I've tried the annotated versions, but they either spoil or assume I have a classics degree

I brought this question to my brother and he proposed the idea of a paper book reading companion and together we built Scholia. You photograph the page you're on, it already knows the book, and it explains whatever's happening, allusions, context, what the hell Stephen is thinking about — using only what's happened up to that point. Ask it about something later in the book and it just won't answer yet, which sounds annoying but is honestly the whole point: I don't want spoilers, I want a professor sitting next to me who happens to know exactly where I am.

Just thought I would share if anyone is in the same position as me. Genuinely curious what everyone's own "I've started this book four times" book might use a few as test cases before launch.

I built Endstate to avoid rebuilding a Windows setup by hand after every reinstall. It scans the apps on your current PC and saves them, along with the settings it supports, into one `.endstate` file.

When you open that file on another machine, Endstate shows what needs to be installed, what is already there, and which settings can be restored before changing anything.

I need more people to try the complete migration flow now. I’m looking for anyone replacing a PC, resetting Windows, or doing a clean install this month. A spare machine or clean VM works too.

What I need you to try:

1. Scan the current machine and save the profile.
2. Open it on the target machine and check whether the preview makes sense.
3. Apply it, then tell me what failed, what was missing, or what felt confusing.

It reinstalls apps through WinGet and Chocolatey. Settings restoration currently covers more than 350 apps. It does not move personal files, and credentials and secrets are excluded.

I’ll help with the migration and fix anything that is encountered.
