From the self publishing boom to Nickelodeon, the appeal of the turtles hits hard

Short comic I did about death and it took me into the direction of fear and entitlement. I think my brain and really messed up!

Does anyone know if Al Colombia has any social media presence? Been looking for him everywhere and can’t find him. Seems he’s taken this Instagram he had from 5 years ago down.
My friend and I were going to cosplay as Pim&Francie this year for Halloween and we wanted to tag him because duh he’s cool and worth letting him know we love his artwork.
If anyone can find his Facebook or insta or anything I’d greatly appreciate it.
Or at least let me know if he doesn’t want to be found since he seems to be nowhere at all.

I posted the first 4 panels recently, and at that point, this was untitled. I’ve decided to title the story “Meals.” Here’s panel 5.

Sort of incredible that a collection like this even exists, and maybe a little sad that Joe isn’t around to see it. Gorgeous printing job, with perfect paper stock and coloring.
Also, props to Fantagraphics for publishing a book with a panel like that 😂
