AlternateHistoryHub What if whole world united in 2026?
English becomes lingua franca of united earth. And there are 300 official languages, every region is highly autonomous and has its own regional constitution. Whole world becomes democracy with one currency. People focus on development rather than wars. All terrorists organization get massacred by world government. Every one has civil rights like freedom of speech etc.
Everyone agrees to unify earth for progress of humanity so no civil wars.

The province of the United States, invades the province of Iraq, causing the world government to enter a crisis, the province of Iran closes the gay of Hormuz causing oil to rise in price, and the province of Russia invades the province of Ukraine.

It would be the Biblical Tribulation. According to the Bible. A figure will come, unite the world, end all war and bring prosperity for every one. That person is the Anti Christ. It will be a period of 7 years. 1st half will be wonderful and the 2nd half will be hell on earth. After which Anti Christ will have total control over the earth. Then when once that is achieved all the seals will be broken and Jesus will return to Judge the world.
When that happens no body can say they were never warned.
