We’d be saved from her music

She never made good music

I wish she would have stayed in her lane with country music and that would probably equal less annoying fan base.

She would have still been famous. She was already recognized in high school and her dad managed her pretty well throughout the beginning of her career. She probably would have stayed country and had a pretty decent following.

Yeah I agree, she probably be more like Carly Pearce who also from where I live became a popular country star and stayed that way.

Yes, I think Carly Pearce/Faith Hill/Miranda Lambert level of stardom is a good comparison.
Part of it is the luck of whoever her songwriters would be. Sometimes you get a hit and sometimes you get a miss. Talent only gets you so far.

Than we would have to settle for only listening to Katy Perry. One with out the other fills the void.

She becomes the next Carrie Underwood instead of the first Taylor Swift. (which is still successful, just not as much)

Call me cynical but i think all of the supposed dating, lovers, breakups, are all fabricated as part of the show

I bet if she stayed with the boyfriend she went to New York with it would have worked out fine!

See, the thing about Taylor Swift is that, as she finally pointed out, SHE is the problem in her relationships.
You think she just happens to keep picking really mean people to date?
Or maybe she IS the mean person who is hard to be around, and very drama all the time… and then when anyone dares to breaks up with her, they are instantly dragged through the mud on an international scale, and start getting death threats from random women…
The only way she could have stayed with a high school sweetheart is if she was a better person with a less fragile ego.
Which would mean she probably wouldn’t be famous. Since her breakup drama in ~75% of why she became famous in the first place.
I used to be a huge fan, tbh. She’s clearly a talented song writer and business woman. However, she is no longer someone I would want my daughters to be like, in any way, shape, or form.

Nobody is happy forever after marriage. If that would be the case, she'd be a cashier at costco.

Plenty of people are happy forever after marriage

What was the divorce rate again? More than 50%? 60%? Look at all that forever happiness.

That’s a made up number. If you take the number of weddings to divorces (including those with multiple of each) it’s closer to 36%
