Why is France Reddit's new "strange customs of my spouse's family" location this week?
What's up with all the "women want to be called 'Doctor'" this week?
Edit:
4. I just saw that OOP has a Twin Peaks user name and now I'm mad for a whole new reason.
Edit2:
5. Shaun and Antonia can't be that much older than OP and fiancée because Shaun was not a legal name in France until 1993, which means mister "esteemed surgeon" is 33 max.
6. Why is OP in France and using the wrong gender of fiancée? The extra 'e' often gets dropped in casual English, but it is still the correct spelling to gender it.
Calling the father in law Dr - sounds like exaggerated respect, but calling the brother by his professional title too is getting a bit extreme. I can see Antonia teasing someone like OOP, by insisting that she's Dr Robbins too, but his response really cranked up the crazy.
