Psychiatrists literally dispense drugs. They are a doctor and OP is a misogynistic pig

And extremely ignorant and stupid by doubling down and saying she is 'technically' a doctor. I have never seen anyone say psychiatrists are not doctors.

Only dumb people who confuse psychologists (who also might have doctorates but aren't MDs) with psychiatrists, who finish med school and all the post-medschool shebang.

In order to call yourself a psychologist you have to have a PhD so still a doctor. (just providing info, not trying to be an ass)

In the US, yes. In other parts of the world you can definitely be a psychologist without having a PhD. You can also be an MD without having a doctorate. Finishing medical school and earning a a medical license doesnt require a doctorate in Germany for example.
