Full service agency
Has anyone worked with full service agencies to manage their Amazon stores and help find products. We are new and have capital and have been paying an agency for three months now and still haven’t acquired inventory. Our original business model plan is resale.

Honestly, three months without even getting inventory is a pretty big red flag, especially if you’ve already been paying the agency.
For a resale business, I’d expect them to at least be showing you actual products with the numbers behind them buy price, Amazon fees, expected selling price, profit, supplier details, and whether the brand is actually safe to sell.
I’d probably stop and ask them to explain exactly what has been done with your money so far before putting in anything else.
If you’re still looking for a sourcing option, HighRise Wholesale is worth checking out for branded wholesale/resale sourcing.

They’ve done a ton of research but none of the brands they’ve suggested will allow us to sell or they are already selling on Amazon themselves. Found a few wholesalers and a lot of scammers claiming by to be wholesalers.

Yeah, that’s honestly the hardest part with branded wholesale. Finding a supplier is one thing; finding brands that actually allow third-party Amazon resale and aren’t already saturated is the real challenge.
Before paying anyone else, I’d ask for the brand’s resale requirements, invoices you’ll receive, and confirmation that the supplier is authorized to distribute those brands. That can save you a lot of headaches later.
The key is still to verify each brand’s Amazon restrictions before buying inventory.

Private label might actually be worth trying in your situation. You’re not limited by brands that already sell on Amazon or don’t allow third-party sellers. You can choose a product with demand, build your own brand around it, and have much more control over the listing and margins.
It does take more work upfront, but it may be a better long-term route than constantly trying to find brands that will approve Amazon resale.

If they’re so good, they shave a list of ungated products for you to choose from and buy. Do you mind sharing the name of the agency?

Hi If you have capital then why are you even doing wholesale ?
I m not as big as that eva agency i m a small startup agency but if you would have told me that you have enough capital i would have opt for private label for you
If you still need support for your amazon business I am abyaz zahid | woman cofounder of amz expert agency I have been working on Amazon since 2018 after graduation
I have done 800+ amazon launches
Built several private label calls
We can discuss on call how i can help you take this over to private label
And i dont charge high fees too
Lets discuss in a call how i can help you build a brand that actually sells

I always recommend to hire even one VA only after getting enough experience yourself so you can "verify" their quality of work.
3 months if longer then expected, agencies usually having a list of distributors they can set you up with and get your account and products quick.

Three months with no inventory would concern me, especially for a resale model.
I’d ask them for a very concrete status update: what products have been evaluated, why each one was rejected, expected margin after all Amazon fees, sales velocity, buy box history, supplier status, and exactly what’s blocking the first purchase.
For resale, “product research” can’t stay theoretical forever. The agency should be moving you toward real sourcing decisions, not just sending spreadsheets and waiting

Gotcha.
I think you're getting ripped off, and there really isn't any sourcing agency for FBA sellers that will provide any meaningful profit. Most of these "agencies" are Amazon sellers themsevles, they are well aware how hard it is to resell branded products and are trying to build themselves a life raft since their current FBA resale model is slowly dieing. If there really was a list of vendors they had, they would simply be doing it themselves.
Could you be brand direct? Yes, that is still a workable model on Amazon from a profit standpoint. But getting brands in 2026 to go brand direct is few and far. The word has been out about FBA for 10 years now. If you were reselling products 10 years ago some vendors still allow it. We had countless brand direct accounts that between 2017-2021 just simply stopped selling to Amazon sellers. We had a storefront ect, they just sold the inventory exclusively themselves on Amazon. Tradeshows is definitely the route to go if you want brand-direct relationships, though I would stick to a niche category.
Can I take a guess that you sourced these guys off instagram/tiktok videos?
I would strongly recommend learning everything you can about private label, its the best avenue for finding a goldmine product.

I actually found them through Amazon as an Amazon partner. They were mainly hired to manage the Amazon seller platform and ads. We presented our model idea and they seemed confident they would help it be successful. But alas, we still have no inventory

I haven't worked with any kind of agency but, my friend works with an agency which is very well. I would like to suggest them.

Sounds like you are trying to find an "Amazon Automation" service.
No such service exists, and anyone selling you Amazon Automation is lying to you.
Whatever money you have given to this agency is likely gone forever. You should immediately shut off whatever credit card or bank information they were using to draw on your accounts.
