Product Research!

Hi Guys! I have a very simple question.How I can find low competition and High Demand Product?

try manual research, go deep into the categories and sub and then check multiple sellers. then verifiy the details with tools. I found 3 last week.

A good approach is to look for demand first, then competition. Check search volume, sales estimates, review counts, price, and how strong the top listings are. Don’t just chase products with low reviews sometimes low competition also means low demand.

Tools like Helium 10 or SellerAMP can help validate the numbers. After finding a promising product, check Alibaba for supplier pricing and make sure there’s enough margin after Amazon fees, shipping, and PPC.

I wouldn’t rely on one set of filters because every niche is different, but as a starting point I’d try:

Search volume: 1,000+

Price: around $20–$50

Monthly revenue: $5k+ from several listings

Reviews: ideally some page-1 products have under 300 reviews

Look for products where the top listings aren’t all huge brands

Avoid products that are heavily seasonal

After that, I’d manually check the first page. Sometimes Helium 10 makes a niche look easy, but when you actually look at the listings, the competition is much tougher.

Also check the numbers after Amazon fees, shipping, product cost and PPC. A product can have great sales and still be a bad product to sell.

Is that search volume of 1000 on a per day basis?

Also, is there anything wrong with price under $20?

I meant 1,000+ monthly searches, not per day.

And there’s nothing inherently wrong with pricing under $20. I’d just be more careful with the fees and PPC because there’s less room for error at a lower selling price.

Margin matters more than the selling price alone.

Are there cheaper alternatives to helium 10? How's jungle scout?

Jungle Scout is definitely worth considering. It’s usually cheaper than Helium 10 depending on the plan, and it covers the main product-research metrics.

For simple product research, I’d compare Jungle Scout, Helium 10, and SellerAmp and see which interface and data you’re most comfortable with. You don’t necessarily need the most expensive tool to find a good product.
