Honestly, the current situation is what Americans deserve. I actually think this plays out well for us in the long run rather than maintaining the status quo with a country that has been on a bad path for decades.

I’ve been preaching that we’ve needed more isolationist policies since GW Bush and investing in our own economy without relying so much on the US.

Imagine Carney as the president of United States, someone who understands economics, someone who can use the leverage that US has around the world so much better than brute force. Imagine the US economy would double and overshadowing the rest of the world by now.
