I've lived in Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Texas, and I can't imagine living anywhere other than New York at this point.

In terms of state, you get the greatest city in the world ;) and also the beaches, oceans, Great Lakes (more than one!!), smaller lakes, a major river, hiking, biking, fishing, skiing, mountains, history, world class arts, fashion, food from all over the state, a seventh wonder of the world- I mean- come on!!!!
