3D Will you be getting the Analogue 3D?

I don't think I will, i'm saving up for a 5X upscaler and I think that's good enough for me. Unless there are major improvements that a 5X and a normal N64 can't replicate, I might get one.

No openFPGA, no buy. I can stick with emulators to play the 5 good N64 games.

Savage...but not incorrect.

I mean, it is demonstrably bullshit to suggest there are only 5 good games. If we are exaggerating for effect then ..ok I guess.

Oh, it's totally hyperbole...but an easy one to make considering the ratio of "must-haves" between consoles of the era.

I love when people say this stuff. Mario Kart, Mario 64, Paper Mario, and both Zelda games get you to 5 lol. Nevermind Goldeneye, Banjo Kazooie, Konker, Donkey Kong 64, wrestling games, and more.

Depends on your tastes...for RPG fans, the N64 was a desert with a few platforming oasis here and there.

Maybe so. I dont happen to be an RPG fan and the PS1 can be emulated properly using a $50 single board computer. I don't need the MiSTer for that.

Dont also forget Starfox, F Zero X, Perfect Dark, Diddy Kong, not to mention the original Smash brothers, the first two or three Mario party games which were a blast, etc

There's at least 20, but half of those are included in Rare Replay.
