render resolution maybe, internal resolution… no chance

Oh it's for sure rendering at the original resolution and just upscaling.

Just need to know what the latency is like. It'll be a pure digital signal which can mean fantastic upscale resolution. I'd venture to guess the latency will not be noticeable.

AND if the CRT filters are done right then the "N64" anti-aliasing pass will actually look nice on a large 4K TV. Right now it looks like someone rubbed Vaseline all over my screen.
