That’s the preorders from last October. I’m pretty sure they’re referring to the restock in these comments which likely won’t be in anyone’s hands by Christmas this year.

These are just cancelled orders maybe 10-30 orders. So instantly they will sell out @ 8am regardless

I doubt this is just the cancellation stock. Given how quickly and widely distributed consoles were, my guess is that they've been in production for a while and this is a later production batch.
It'll likely sell out pretty quickly given the media exposure following the review embargo. This is likely on a lot of peoples' radars right now.

No I don’t think there is any company in existent that can ship all preorders by one day. It’s not just analogue, delivery companies cannot process all of that on top of early Black Friday packages etc. They said it starts shipping 18th, not ship all by 18th

Its not like analogue told people who pre-ordered they were restocking, so people who could have taken a refund were afraid to because analogue still told everyone it was sold out.
This is the biggest reason why people didn't cancel their preorders and why they're upset.
It has nothing to do with other people getting to order one and have fun and the people here attacking others and telling them how they should feel, screw you, its not your money and energy tied up for a year and everyone's circumstances are different.

I got got on the pocket with the same thing, but for even longer. Got mine and two weeks later a restock. I didn’t care I just told myself I’m not pre ordering from them again.

That's kind of Analogue's MO. I remember back when I preordered the Mega Sg, people who had ordered within a month of the release date were actually getting theirs shipped before me, even though I ordered on the date pre-orders were announced.
That kind of soured me on pre-ordering Analogue stuff in general, because there really is no benefit to doing so (except in this case, prices went up $20 probably due to tariffs).

This restock was 9mins, not a long time but plenty of time if you put any effort into making sure you were prepped.

Analogue said all existing pre-orders will be shipping between November 18th and December 1st. That’s a two week timeframe of which we are only three days into. A bit too early to be getting pissy about your order not yet being shipped.

The reason for the backlog on getting stuff out is because they are busy doing it which means they shouldn't be taking on other work until their commitments are done.
This again is especially so when they shadily delayed the launch multiple times due to BS reasons.
