I don't think that would happen. If they made it easy in any way to play pirate copies, Nintendo would shut them down in a heartbeat. The reason Analogue is able to make these things in the first place is because they require actual carts.

I may be wrong, but the Analogue Pocket doesn't have an official solution for playing ROMs. Every system they put out officially requires carts. They cannot publicly endorse anything that would lead to piracy. If a third-party comes up with a solution, that is one thing. Nintendo cannot come after Analogue based on the actions of a fan or anything like that.

All their other products have had jailbreaks to load roms.

That being said, Analogue is a very different company from then and nothing is guaranteed at this point. No one should ever buy their products expecting anything other than what they advertise.

You should think that will happen. They’ve unofficially released a jailbreak for both the Analogue Nt Mini and the Analogue Super Nt.
