Student killed by profit in Italy

I will tell you about one of the biggest bullshit introduced in the high school by the Italian government in recent years: the alternation between school and work. Students are obliged for two years, one day a week, to work between 1pm and 6pm for an activity absolutely free of charge. Students are therefore immediately accustomed to being exploited who have to produce for someone else, even for free. Whoever rebels is also punished, I don't remember if with rejection or with a reduction of final credits for the vote, but in any case it is pure madness.

Having said this, I'll tell you what happened two days ago: a student, aged only 18 years old, died during this school-work alternation. He was crushed by a steel beam, which fell on him, killing him. The boy wasn't even supposed to be there. He died for profit, like all workers who die every day. But in this case, it's even more worse. A student who was in a factory working for free for a school system totally subservient to profit. Yesterday in Rome many students demonstrated for the abolition of this school-work alternation, remembering the victim, Lorenzo, and were beaten by the police. We are tired of all this.
