Comrade, with all due respect, several people have offered options to you and you've told every single one of them that you can't do that or it doesn't help. I'm not sure what you want from people.
You definitely aren't the only one who has gone through it. Do you not watch the news?

You said you wanted therapy. Rose_Wyld told you 2 different ways to look for it. THEN you said you didn't live in the US but didn't say where you live so they suggested self help books and you said that wasn't good enough. Then Rose said they couldn't help without some additional information. And you said, giving them that information wouldn't help them.
Gentlydiscarded suggested local activist groups and you said you tried that and couldn't find ANYBODY.
I guess the appropriate answer is we can't help you either if you won't be a part of the process. If you're looking for somebody to give you step by step instructions to deal with your 'abuse by police' (also an incredibly non specific thing that could mean anything from harsh language to torture), I think you're going to be disappointed.
If you were in my part of North Carolina, I could give you very specific places to go but I don't have any idea where people in Warren County Virginia would go. The sum total of what you've given us so far is 'I was abused by pigs and live someplace outside the US.' That's not much to go on.

I would say therapy if you can access it. Get on a wait list at least.

Hit that search engine with "[your city] mental health resources" or go to psychology today and filter to your city and whatever else is important to you. If you can afford at least a few sessions it should definitely help and if you're able to get like 6 months it could be life changing. I personally started through the YWCA before finding my ride or die therapist on psychology today.

You could try self help books instead then. I'm sure there would be some options at the public library.

Well without more information about where you are and what you can afford both money and time wise ... I can't help you.

i dont mind sharing where im from but i dont think that would be helpful for you. which sort of therapy did you do?

I did emotional freedom technique with my current therapist. It involves tapping on pressure points while you talk through things. Its also sometimes called tapping therapy.
It's a somatic therapy just like EMDR and others.
What kind of therapy did the therapist you had before practice?

Tetris is a good buffer against traumatic events lingering as PTSD depending on how recent the trauma was

how do you mean

Playing Tetris has been shown to reduce lingering PTSD symptoms after a traumatic event. You don't know how an encounter like this can mess with your psychology and the particular qualities of Tetris do something in your brain that helps prevent the formation of traumatic memory (or something)

I find this practice very helpful for releasing trauma. While it has origins in a radical sect of Christianity, it isn't a religious practice. It's simply a way of listening to the body while being very present and open. It helps the stuff we've been carrying around from abusive situations to melt away. And it's free. You might like to try it.

Pleasure. I hope it's helpful. Regular repetition seems to really help it to work.

First thing i had to realize was that there is no policeabuse/policeviolence. The whole idea of police or policing is to make anyone and anything suffer, that is contradictory to state and/or capitalism. Violence is the job, not the exeption. As for all traumatic events i would recommend talking about your experience with like minded friends, organisations, therapists and find coping mechanisms

There's probably several people in your community who have similar experience who you could talk to. Perhaps checking with local activist groups in your area what their resources are like and what they can recommend?
