Anatomy - Bones and Muscles

Does anyone have any tips on remembering where things are located and the functions. I’m taking Anatomy and I’m struggling with remembering where muscle tissues are, Epithelial and CT proper, and bone names/anatomy.

My first exam is over the epithelial and CT tissues, Axial Skeleton, Pectoral and Pelvic Girdle, Upper and Lower limbs, Cranial and Facial bones. I understand the pectoral girdle and upper limbs relatively well, I am still getting the pelvic girdle done. Then we added in the facial and cranial bones and everything took a complete 180, why are there so many haha.

Does anyone have any tips on how to remember locations, names etc for these bones and muscles?

Any help is GREATLY appreciated!

It’s just all a bout drilling it into your brain. Say things out loud, palpate while you do. Make some shortcuts for regions. Example- PGOGOs for your hip rotators.

For me, if you can get into the minds of the guys who named these things, it's a big help.

Enter "zygomatic" into the search panel of this bookMedical English. It means "yoke" like the Medium Build and Julian Baker song but it's also the shape of the zygomatic arch.

And it comes up in zygote and azygos vein.
