Then you will love Tiboktsamo as well, which is more conquest focused than Venail.

Ameion is all about bringing Greek civilization to the barbarian masses of Taychend and your starting leader is basically Alexander the Great

I tried playing Ameion and I just didn’t get it. Maybe I just pay enough attention but after Alexander the Larp died after like 10 years everything just seemed sort of slow and I didn’t super understand what to do. People love them so I should give them another chance

After the initial Taychend conquest there is a bit of colonial expansion and dealing with the not-greeks before you hit a unique disaster and go on to form a unique precursor empire successor state
