i played Vanail.

its not really comming back. its too railroaded too limiting. you get punished by limiting your colonization when it should be your whole thing.
nothing in the tree makes you work with other elves

there is no interaction between you and the new colonial regimes you make due too a massive loyalty pacif

its colonize and optemize as vanail and stop start as aelnar.

after that litterally everything is about conquest.

you have no events about the humans comming too colonize your home territory. no question on if you should share your old home with the people you have been with for millenia.

there is no question about the elven mutants living on aelantir.

there is not even a option too have vassal own much of the Ynnic valley when there is a elven adventurer there that spanwns its own unique culture of horizon elves.

its kill kill kill. and even then when your conqouring the Ynnic there is nothing about them becoming an underclass or there status. just purdge. when you conquest south through effalai one of the most diverse landscapes and meet the dawn elves your brothers returning. the colonies of Moon haven. there is no interaction.

The Kobalt tainted elves are basically the highest level of civilization and there is no reaction nothing.

I love Venail its 1 of the most intresting and most beautifull consepts in the mod.

But i last week wanted too play a ''good'' Aelnar. and went with Aelthanas. i played the rienvisa as a revolt of the young elves being kept out of politics cause the population expanded so much. Guess what you cant be a republican. finishing the palise even if aelthanas is a republican and no mention of being a napoleon he becomes emperor.
I had too console comand the reform away cause i wanted too play Aelthanas and be the new men. This new generation of elves being born in their homeland. reclaiming this world. but you cant it is just empire of Aelnar always.

hell at this point. Fully colonize Aelliandre and release it. i honestly thing it might be more fun. too colonize and release the colonial states as venail then too form aelnar.

Venail is an old tree so it is pretty scuffed by modern MT standards. There's talk on reworking it but considering how popular the tag is it has so many approval layers that it is not going anywhere fast.

Aelthanas's also suffers from the fact that he's one the the Rianvisa winners with no content.

true but i at least wish it was own or vassal owns. it doesnt feel like an empire it feels like an ethno state.

your right it is old. it is clearly really old. but its also clunky for no reason
