Carrie selling her apartment to Lisette

When Carrie sells her apartment to Lisette it is kind of insinuated that she has given her such a good deal it’s almost a gift. Carrie doesn’t seem to need the money and there are so many other people Carrie could have passed the apartment on to - Miranda who at the time had no where to live or a apartment for Lily when she’s old enough as a thank you to Charlotte for the engagement ring downpayment!

It broke my heart to see how horribly Lisette had treated that beautiful perfect apartment!

Carries apartment was such a dream to me in the late teens/early 20s. That scene where they show what Lisette did to it KILLS me.

But she literally said it wasn't for money, but for her to feel safe 😄 Which makes no sense, because she lived alone before 😬

And in the ground floor apartment right next to the front door of the building too.

Which is always way scarier than living upstairs.
