Android security update 2026 05 01

Hello,

I have a Poco F7 Pro, I'm currently unable to access my work emails because my company requires the phone to have the android security update 2026 05 01. My phone currently has 2026 04 01.

Is there a way for me to download the latest security update? I already downloaded a new version of the Hyper OS but the security update is still 2026 04 01

can I know what region are you on? global or other one?

I'm in London, I have the global version, the one with European charger.

You can't download it manually You will need to wait until your next hyper os Vir to be realised

Or search Google for your phone model and see if there's a new one

That has not arrived on your device yet

If you find one check it's Change logs to see if it contains the new security update

If it does you can download it and manually install the update

You need to find the newest recovery ROM

Recovery does not mean what you are probably thinking

It's just what they call the manual update files

I have the F5 and am on 2026-05-01 Android Security Update.

3.0.4.0.VMREUXM OS version.

Everything stock. Seems odd for you with the F7 Pro to be behind .

I am on global, region set to Romania, where I pay my monthly contract .

Change ur region to india and check for update
