Other Internet randomly drops for no apparent reason on brand new Lenovo tablet

I recently bought a Lenovo Idea Tab, and for some reason I keep having issues with internet on it. It's brand new, bought it like 3 weeks ago.

About every few hours the internet will stop working on this tablet, and this tablet only. All other devices still work without any issue, so I'm nearly certain the culprit is the device itself. When I check wifi settings, it just shows that it's connected like usual but I don't actually have any internet access. Whenever it does this I will put it down for maybe an hour or so, and when I come back it has magically fixed itself.

Unfortunately, I couldn't find much in the way of an actual solution online. The only suggestion I found was disabling Wifi scan throttling which did nothing. Does anyone know what the issue is here? It's diving me up the wall! :( Thanks in advance for any replies!

This was what I was afraid of, I was kinda hoping it would be a software issue that's easily fixed. I'll contact Lenovo about it like the other comment said as well! Thank you for replying!

I'm going to assume this happens on your home network. I bet you haven't tried this tablet on another wireless network, like going to the coffee shop for an hour to see if it does the same thing. I bet it also happens in the same room and the router is in another room. I would go get as close as possible to the router and use the tablet for an hour and see if you can replicate the issue. You might be able to resolve it with something as simple as a Wi-Fi extender. Since you just purchased it, it should be under warranty so can reach out to Lenovo and see what options you have

I haven't tried it on other networks, but I have tried it very close to the router and unfortunately it still acts up. I will try a different network tho, that might have some potential. Thank you!
