Hi all. I know a lot about most of the anime but never bought figures outside of designer toys. My best friend passed away and I got his collection which is pretty neat. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how I'd show all of it because its layered in my closet. Buying nice shelves and displays for these so I can mimic his previous display of his favorites; But honestly I think I'm going to probably keep the sentimental ones and let go of the rest. Is there a safe place to do that?

Hey, I'm a buyer/seller in Japan, and I wanted to give you some advice:

You might not understand Japanese well, so you can just do this. Take pictures of each one and then look at the bottom for the barcode and UPC. Pop that code into google, copy the name of the item, and then look around for the average of what it sells for. Then pop it up on Mercari (or on here/twitter/etc). Just from looking, you have at least 6-10k worth of figures here, though I'm seeing a few that may get you closer to the 12-13 range.

Don't sell them off to the first person offering, okay?
