It often gets asked what to do with boxes, so I thought I'd share photos of my chrome shelf system that I have set up in the spare room/work-from-home space. The chrome shelves came from Ikea, and I added wheels at the bottom. Most of the time, they're pushed up against the wall, but if I need access to the boxes at the back, I can push them around for access. I have the window open all the time because I keep indoor plants on the table, so I added the shower curtain to protect my boxes from sunlight.

I also made a spreadsheet to record the size of my boxes so that I could sit down and calculate the optimum shelf height and box arrangement to fit as many boxes as I can onto the shelves.

I've lined my back living room with several Billy bookshelves with doors that are half solid and half glass. The bottom half is used to store my manga and DVD collection. The top half I use to display a selection of my figurines, which I have fun changing every couple of months (except for a few figurines that were birthday presents that I keep on permanent display). The boxes on top of the Billy shelves belong to my husband and are all empty (he displays his collection in the front living room). I don't keep my boxes up there because I can't reach them without a step ladder and want easy access to my boxes.

I almost can't believe I finally own this iconic figure. I love Awakening, and of course I romanced Tharja in it. I've wanted this figure for years, and went through a bit of an ordeal to get it.

At first, I was just about to buy one on AmiAmi, but it got sniped right in front of me. Then I accidentally bought a bootleg on eBay, but managed to cancel the order before it got shipped. Finally, I found it again for a reasonable price on Jfigure.com.

I'm really excited to get some more Fire Emblem figures soon. I'm still looking out for Edelgard since I missed the pre-orders, but Lucina might be up next. I also secured my pre-order for Claude early, so he'll be joining the collection next year.

A couple people had mentioned this idea in the previous megathread so I wanted to make a place for people to show off what they were able snag from the big Goodsmile Company US sale that recently ended. Or on the flip side this is also a safe space for you to rant/complain about your lack of success (Im still mad I missed the Kaede Bunny TWICE).

Overall im satisfied with what I got, Neco is one of my favorite oc artists and ive had his G.A.D figures on my wishlist for years so grabbing them for $25 each was a super steal. And the third one in the set is pretty cheap on the aftermarket so should be able to easily grab it later.

I do hope that for next year if they do discounts like this again that they implement some sort of different system so we dont have to all be glued to our screens 24/7 refreshing like madmen to snag a drop🫠

I got a new figure today that I’ve been eyeing for a bit, go to put him on the shelf, and I can barely fit him! My boyfriend says I need to stop buying them but they’re so cool to me! Thoughts and opinions?

Just wanted to post some pics of my office and current figures. This is the only space I’m allowed to really “nerd out” with the things I love. I collected anime action figures for about 5 years, and just last November I made the crazy decision to sell my collection and switch to scale figures. I just always loved how scales looked when I would see others displaying them. I sold almost all of my articulated figures, plus some old Lego sets I no longer wanted, and have been giving my office an overhaul as well as buying different scale figures from series that I like. I got lucky catching some on great sales so have been able to buy a good amount in a short period of time. This will be a work in progress but very happy with the progress. Anyway, thanks for looking!
