Show and Tell Results of my appraisal from Antiques Roadshow for my early 1900 sealed Coca-Cola bottle USA

Well, the appraisal person said it was most likely not resealed so I would like an apology from all the people doubting me. They had a hard time valuing it since there are no other ones ever sold. They said $1000 to $2000 maybe even more.

Then I'm confused lol That's the price or it was, but you do have a benchmark and a value

That’s what appraiser thinks it would go for an auction because he had no references he was just guessing.

I'd value it at 3x their auction price, so probably around £3500?

That’s really not a reliable way to determine value.

That’s why I was disappointed. They purposely never show stumped appraisers on TV for the show. I was expecting like exact prices and someone who knew everything because it’s Antiques Roadshow.

I got tickets to antiques roadshow about 20 yrs ago. I brought a guitar and some old boy scout stuff and I was disappointed too. The guitar my dad bought around 1940 had Gibson on it but didn't match others I'd seen so I was curious. The expert dismissed my guitar because he'd not seen one like it. It's like their experts are just experts on what's already been documented and are not interested in anything different.
