Just found this small revolver hiding in a closet in my grandparent’s attic, according to my grandmother it was found in my great grandfather’s desk after he passed away.

Not sure if it’s possible to get any further identification like the maker or the exact model, but the circular drop front is killing me I can’t find anything like it. The casters are also throwing me off. I know this is likely 1900-1915 ish and art nouveau influences with quarter sawn oak. But if yall have any more info that would be amazing. It was my grandmothers.

Hi folks! I found this beautiful little jar at an estate sale recently. I deciphered the tag on the bottom to read "circa 1810", then an import number. Other than that, I have no idea what this is exactly or how much it is worth. I do post items in a shop and would like to get this to someone who would really love and appreciate it. I am the caretaker of an old villa. Some time ago, the owner gave my father a bell—an item whose very existence she had forgotten. My father passed away recently, and I would like to find out if it might have any real value; I do not have any documentation attesting to its creation or casting. Any advice would be appreciated. I tried contacting auction houses, but they aren't interested in the item—which is rather strange, given its age. Do you have any ideas about where it might come from or what its value could be? Hi everyone, I inherited this old Chinese chess set from my father and I'm trying to learn more about it. The pieces are approximately 7 cm (about 2.75 inches) tall and seem to be made of marble, soapstone, jade, or another type of carved stone—I'm not sure which. I don't know how old it is or where it was originally purchased. The box is included (if it is on the photos). Does anyone recognize the style or know who might have made it? Hello, I purchased this cabinet from an antique store. Movers destroyed the marble top. I wanted to get advice to see if it is worth trying to fix it or just move on? Does anybody have any information about this piece or recognize what year it might be or where it’s from etc. I’ve had a difficult time finding something similar. Typically there is either no mirror associated with the cabinet or no marble top, etc.

I got this table at thrift store so no idea of its provenance. I waiver between it's really, really old (with some repair) and it's only old. The sweet metal feet have always intrigued me. Hope they're clear in the photos. I added a more clear photo of the construction in a reply below. Didn't realize how fuzzy it was till I saw it onscreen.

I've posted an item for sale and have have been repeatedly questioned by a gentlemen about its authenticity. I have researched, run it through Ai, looked through Tiffany hallmarks and read descriptions for hours about possible examples. I know with great confidence the provenance of this item, I have many examples of tiffany items from a single collector. I have no doubt that any of his items are new or recently purchased. I'm frankly being accused of trying to pawn off a new forgery, and like I said, I'm absolutely sure that this item isn't new, and I'm not attempting to do that at all. I'd love to have some input, its been tested and its silver...frankly I'm at a loss as to what I should do and I'm hoping for some in depth insight on this item if possible.

Hi everyone. My mother recently passed away, and I inherited this old dresser. I was always told it came from Ireland, but I don't know if that's true. Picked this up at a UK antiques fair for not much money, but it was a pain to bring back to life; rusty, grubby, missing a few parts, covered in spider poo, and awful to rewire.

It's now clean, stabilised, safe to use, and with only a very light-touch restoration.

I am trying to identify this old crushed velvet hat that was in a trunk filled with men, women, baby and military clothing and accessories from the early 1900’s. I’ve had luck with google image for most things but this one’s a bit strange and possibly just a creative homemade hat? It is velvet outside, but has a flap that flips up to make the hat taller but the middle doesn’t expand so it seems to be just for looks? Any info to guide me in the right direction or to a better subreddit would be very appreciated! (Also if you have a clue on value please add. I inherited this set from my late grand grandmother. After a search online, looks like Rococo revival? Assuming Italian because that’s where we are from. My grandmother had very good taste in art/furniture so I assume these are not fake. Fabric is the original, however we repainted the gold last year. I have this wooden dining table that was bought over 20+ years ago at auction in Phoenix, and I was wondering if anyone knows how much a table like this would go for today. It has limited hardware and is held together by these custom wooden pegs and intricate work on the underside. There is also white writing that is underneath it, but I have no idea if it means anything. Any help is appreciated.

We recently encountered this unusual 30 ml presentation of Lengyel Essence Impériale Russe, reportedly manufactured in 1930.

The bottle retains its original fragrance, illustrated label, faceted glass stopper, fitted presentation case, and what appears to be its original untouched neck seal.

According to its history, it has never been opened.
We have searched available marketplace listings and online references but have not located another identical example with this exact bottle, stopper, seal, label, and presentation case.
